What is CalFresh?

CalFresh is California's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). CalFresh is financial aid for food! It is a nutrition assistance program that provides eligible students with up to $281 per month in the form of a cash grant to spend on groceries. It gives students the flexibility to buy the foods they love at their favorite grocery stores or farmers markets (Trader Joe’s, Costco, Vons, Food 4 Less, the downtown Farmers’ Market and more)!

Identity verification such as driver’s license, social security card or voter registration

Proof of rental/lease agreement. You can still apply without a mailing address!

Financial aid award information, even if award information appears as $0 or blank
